Geomancy Example: “Will I get a job interview through this recruiter?”

When you’ve been in the job market for a while, it’s great to find a recruiter who is interested in helping you land your next role, but will they?
My client was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn about an open role with a major global brand. After a brief call, they quickly realized they were on the same page and happily agreed to reconnect for a video interview to forward on to the hiring manager.
This video interview was the first step towards an actual interview with the global brand.

My Answer:
The Judge is the Final Answer:
This judge is Ijtima’, and it is auspicious! Ijtima’ speaks to contracts, agreements, meetings, gatherings, friendship, partnership, and unity. This figure signifies 2 of something coming together.
First Mother: ‘Uqla
‘Uqla in the first position in the table tells us there’s something disruptive; we need to proceed with caution.
We combine the figure of the judge with the figure of the 10th house of career and reputation to see what is at play.
Here we get Al-Bayad indicating “writing, paper, whiteness, clean, blank sheet, growth. Rejoicing in Motion”.
This speaks to the new opportunity that is coming up, like starting something fresh, and rejoicing in motion, as in moving forward in a positive way.
We combine the figure of the 10th house with its hidden figure to tell us the hidden or secret motivation behind the question.
Here, we get Lahyan, which signifies “happiness, achievement, and success.” This tells us that my client is excited about this opportunity and feels qualified.
The Right Witnesses: The current state or what has happened already:
The Right Witness is 'Atabe al-Dakhil, which means: “Beginning, inner boundary, internal, joyful beginning”. This tracks, as my client was excited and hopeful about scheduling the preliminary interview.
The Left Witnesses: How this will all play out
The Left Witness is Inkis, which means: “Reversal, failing, falling, suffering, sorrow, turning upside down.”
This gives us caution again. As this plays out, this figure indicates a reversal, a turning back, like something isn’t going to go through.
Final Judgment:
Even though it all looks good from the initial call with the recruiter and the appointment is set, I advised my client that it may not end satisfactorily.
Perhaps the hiring manager may not want to meet, or if they do meet, it will not result in a job offer. Something will come undone.
What Actually Happened:
After a couple of follow-up emails with no response, it became clear the recruiter had ghosted my client.
The judgment was correct - it was a (seemingly) happy union with the recruiter, but the way it played out confirmed it was not meant to be. The deal fell apart and was reversed.
When there’s not so good news to share in these readings, I am always very careful and sensitive towards my clients, without sugarcoating the truth. People ask these questions because they want to know what will likely happen, and not necessarily what they want to hear.
