February 2026 - When to apply for your next job using Astrology

This month’s election has THREE powerful planets in their signs of exaltation, supporting one another, free from the rays of Mars and Saturn by degree*.
During this time, Venus will have pulled further away from under the beams of the Sun, giving her visibility and increasing her power to support the Moon in her sign of Taurus.
*Let’s be real - Saturn IS giving a square to Jupiter by whole sign house, so an influence of hesitation or restraint will be felt, but Jupiter is far enough ahead in Cancer that this square doesn’t spoil the election. The same can be said for Mars squaring the Moon from Aquarius. The Moon in Taurus is barely out of the orb of the Mars square, so we are good to go here too.
If anything, these sign-based squares from Mars and Saturn accurately describe the brutal job market (and world) we are currently navigating. These squares are giving anxiety, imposter syndrome, and intense competition realness. True to form, a retrograde chart ruler (Jupiter) brings us the good with the bad, and bad with the good. 😅 We’re all definitely feelin’ it.
Nevertheless, my friends, the benefic stars are more powerful and in our favor! This auspicious date falls towards the end of February.

The Election Window
This Pisces-rising chart is for timing when you click “submit” on your applications.
We’re aiming to submit our most important job applications when the Ascendant degree is as close to Venus as possible without going over into Aries.
Below is a game plan to help you get everything submitted during this auspicious time. All times are Pacific Standard (PST).
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2026
🟡 Prep Time: 6:25 AM PST – 6:56 AM PST
This is your cushion before it’s go time. At 6:25 AM (PST) is around when the Ascendant first enters Pisces. If you have many applications to submit, you CAN start submitting as early as 6:25 AM (PST) when the Ascendant first enters Pisces.
🟢 Go Time: 6:56 PM - 7:06 AM PST
This is the sweet spot, when the Ascendant is in the bound of Jupiter, at about 12º Pisces, within orb of the exalted, rejoicing Moon at 9º Taurus in the 3rd whole sign house.
If possible, submit your most important applications between 6:56 AM and 7:06 AM PST. At 7:04 AM, the Ascendant joins an exalted Venus at 15º Pisces and makes an exact trine to an exalted Jupiter, the governor of this horoscope. Sooo juicy!
🟠 Wrap It Up: 7:06 AM PST – 7:36 AM PST
During this time frame, the Ascendant will move past Venus, but still within orb of Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon. As long as your Ascendant is still in Pisces, in the first whole sign house, you’re still good to keep submitting applications.
🔴 Hard Stop: 7:42 AM PST
Stop after 7:42 AM PST, because the Ascendant will have changed to Aries, conjoining a Saturn in Aries, the sign of his exile. The election window is closed.
Why this election is good for submitting job applications:
Pisces rises, hosting an exalted Venus in the first whole sign house. Venus has pulled away further from the Sun’s rays, giving her more strength and visibility than in earlier February.
Venus is well supported by exact trine from the governor of the horoscope, an exalted Jupiter in the 5th whole sign house of creative projects and the things that give us joy. WE the people using this election to submit job applications are represented by the chart ruler (Jupiter) and the first whole sign house. Having both of these in excellent condition is really good for us and the goal for any good election.
Our other queen, the Moon is ALSO in her sign of exaltation (Taurus), and rejoicing in the third whole sign house. Venus is the ruler of Taurus and because Venus is in good hands, the Moon is ALSO able to do good for us in this chart.
Jupiter IS retrograde, so good will come with the bad, bad will come with the good. Jupiter is the lord of the MC and the 10th whole sign house, again adding that emphasis of honor and power since these planets are well sported by one another.
My hope is that this election translates to us being “the honored”, “the chosen”, “the exalted” candidate in our job hunting endeavors. At the same time, I would be grateful if jobs that are unworthy of our talents, toxic, or won’t appreciate our value rejected us swiftly. This election calls for excellence.
I hope we continue to be there for one another as we navigate the ambiguity of our next career move in these uncertain times. Be gentle on yourself as much as possible. Remember that rejection letters are not personal, although I know they can sure feel that way over time.
As one of my favorite astrologers (Kira Ryberg) says, “it’s impossible to arrive late to our fate”. We WILL arrive where we need to be. The right door WILL open in due time.
Sending you love and solidarity, always. —Ana
