This Virgo-rising chart is for timing when you click “submit” on your job applications.

We’re aiming to submit our most important job applications when the Virgo Ascendant degree is within the bounds of Venus or Jupiter. Virgo rising gives us a little over 2 hours in total to work with.

Below is a game plan to help us get everything submitted during this auspicious time. All times are Pacific Standard (PST).

SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2026

🟡 Prep Time: 10:35 AM PST – 11:23 AM PST

This is our cushion before it’s go time. At 10:35 AM (PST) is around when the Ascendant first enters Virgo. If you have many applications to submit, you CAN start submitting as early as 10:35 AM (PST) when the Ascendant first enters Virgo.

🟢 Go Time: 11:23 AM - 12:14 PM PST

This is the sweet spot, when the Ascendant is in the bounds of Venus, at about 10º Virgo, well within orb of the Moon growing in light at about 15º Virgo in the first whole sign house.

This Go-Time window extends through the bounds of Jupiter, giving us almost an hour to submit our most important applications between 11:23 AM and 12:14 PM PST. After 12:14 PM, the Ascendant enters the bounds of Mars.

🟠 Wrap It Up: 12:14 PM PST – 12:56 PM PST

If you’re not yet finished, keep going! The election window is good as long as the Ascendant is in Virgo. After 12:14 PM, the ascendant will have separated from the Moon but draws closer to an exact sextile with Mercury, the governor of this horoscope, and an exalted Jupiter in Cancer.

🔴 Hard Stop: 12:57 PM PST

Stop before 12:57 PM PST, because the Ascendant will have changed to Libra. The Moon will have moved to the cadent 12th house. We always want a strong Moon in our elections. The election window is closed.

Why this election is good for submitting job applications:

For the majority of this election we have the MC in Cancer, in the 10th whole sign house with Mercury (the lord of Virgo) and an exalted Jupiter. We can say that the 10th house in this chart is in good condition, especially as Mercury and Jupiter continue to separate from the square from Saturn by degree. Saturn is sending a square by sign, which adds a measure of pressure and stress.
Mercury is in the 11th house of friends, networks and associates. The 11th is considered an auspicious placement for planets and points in a chart. Mercury is applying to an exalted Jupiter, taking on the attributes and nature of Jupiter. Astrologer and teacher Kira Ryberg says, Mercury is a chameleon; it takes on the properties, attributes, and natures of whatever planet and sign it comes in contact with. Jupiter is an ideal influence for Mercury, embodying it with wisdom, hope, faith and optimism.
The Moon is angular in Virgo and in a mutual reception with Mercury. When planets are in strong houses AND in one another’s signs in sight of one another by friendly aspect, they boost and support each another.
The Moon is gaining light, moving closer to fullness, and enjoys essential dignity by triplicity in the sign of Virgo. This means this Moon is going to get a little help from her friends, which reinforces the theme of friends and networks of the 11th house that holds Mercury.
